You should always collect from the map

The best way to do this is by sending your troops into the field to collect additional resources. The amount of resources your troops can bring in is determined by their combined loads. This means, as you send more troops on each trip, you can bring back more resources.
In this sense, you must first train many troops before you can bring the big loads to your base — spend resources to generate money, in other words.
In this case, your HQ is one of the most important buildings in the State of Survival. However, whenever an expansion becomes available, it is always a good idea to unlock it as soon as you can.
Join an Active Alliance to Enjoy Great Benefits
As in other war games, the strength in the State of Survival is in the union. For this reason, it is always important to join an active alliance. By belonging to one of these groups, you will gain protection against your enemies while offline.
Even if your alliance isn’t strong enough yet, most players won’t want to seek trouble with you for fear of incurring the fury of your allies. This protection is even greater if you relocate your base to your alliance territory after joining.
